My own recent experience is mixed.
In 2006 I sold a 107m2 flat for 295,000 Euros.
In 2012 I sold my 129 m2 Patissia flat and left Greece.
In 2014 I bought a 25m2 flat for just 10.000.
In 2018 I'm managing my own portfolio of the following Athens flats:
25 m2 ground floor facing the street (Attaleias 2, downtown)
30 m2 ground floor facing the backyard (Magnisias 20, downtown)
20 m2 3rd floor facing the backyard (Kosti Palama 5, Ano Patissia)
17 m2 6th floor (Iviron 13, downtown near Amerikis Square)
96 m2 4th floor near the Divani Caravel Hotel and the Athens Hilton.
